Summary of Job Duties:
The Education Coordinator for Student Services and Recruitment provides operational, administrative, and programmatic support for the College of Nursing Student Services Office. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and collaborating closely with the Director of Recruitment and Outreach and the Director of Student Services, this position supports recruitment, admissions, student engagement, onboarding, retention initiatives, scholarship processes, student communications, and student-centered events across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.The Education Coordinator assists with coordinating recruitment activities, processing admissions materials, maintaining student records and Student Services processes, managing communications and outreach initiatives, updating website and marketing content, and implementing student support activities from recruitment through graduation. This position serves as a key point of contact for prospective and current students while supporting the efficient daily operations of the Student Services Office and promoting a positive, responsive, and student-centered experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Three years of experience coordinating educational programs.
Experience with public speaking and delivering presentations.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using a student information system or other student services technology.
Experience supporting student recruitment, admissions, advising, or student services in a higher education environment.
Experience coordinating events, outreach programs, or student engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment, outreach, and engagement activities for prospective and current nursing students.
Assist with admissions processing, application review workflows, onboarding activities, and student communications.
Respond to inquiries from prospective students, applicants, current students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
Support student retention initiatives, scholarship processes, and other student success programs.
Plan and coordinate student-centered events, including recruitment programs, orientations, information sessions, and other College of Nursing activities.
Prepare presentations and represent the College of Nursing at recruitment events, information sessions, and community outreach activities.
Maintain accurate student records, reports, databases, and Student Services documentation in accordance with university policies and applicable requirements.
Develop, review, and distribute communications through email, websites, social media, and other outreach platforms.
Coordinate updates to recruitment materials, website content, and marketing resources to ensure information is accurate and current.
Collaborate with College of Nursing leadership, faculty, staff, and university partners to support undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
