What you will have an opportunity to do:
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Bartender to join our team! The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest’s needs while preparing perfect beverages in a timely manner. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Your role:
- Prepare cocktails and beverages according to approved recipes, specifications, portions, and presentation standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, menus, promotions, and featured products.
- Provide recommendations and actively promote premium spirits, wines, signature cocktails, and other appropriate offerings.
- Greet and serve bar guests professionally and efficiently.
- Prepare beverage orders for restaurant and cocktail servers within established service times.
- Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and take appropriate action in accordance with policy.
- Maintain accurate control of all beverages poured and served.
- Enter transactions into the POS system and process cash, credit card, room charge, and other approved payments.
- Follow established procedures for comps, voids, spills, breakage, transfers, and discounts.
- Never provide unauthorized complimentary beverages.
- Maintain proper cash-bank accountability when assigned.
- Follow established beverage recipes and portion-control standards without unauthorized substitutions or over-pouring.
- Maintain bar pars and communicate low inventory or unavailable items promptly.
- Properly rotate products using established inventory practices.
- Complete required opening and closing inventories when assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, equipment, glassware, tools, storage areas, and work surfaces.
- Ensure garnishes and perishable products are properly prepared, labeled, dated, stored, and discarded according to standards.
- Maintain appropriate glassware and bar supplies throughout service.
- Work collaboratively with Barbacks, Servers, Cocktail Servers, Culinary colleagues, and other team members.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and training.
- Support other resort beverage operations as assigned based on operational needs.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Previous bartending experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately.
- Strong cash-handling and POS skills.
- Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
