Truck Spotter

Johnson Brothers is a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor. Johnson Brothers has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.

This position is responsible for fueling and spotting trucks at the loading dock and our Delivery areas. This position is Mon -Thurs 8:00pm-6:30am.

Job Description:

Safely operate Class A and B vehicle combinations

Repeatedly enter and exit Class A and B vehicles

Safely maneuver Class A and B vehicles in a spatially constrained truck lot

Safely operate fueling station

Accurately comprehend and execute nightly truck loading plan

Hold Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement

Regular attendance and timeliness

    Perform other duties as assigned

Accurately complete all appropriate paperwork

Ability to accurately follow processes and procedures

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Education: 

• Hold Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 2+ years related experience

Computer Skills:

• Ability to operate GPS navigational system preferred

            Math Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

            Other Requirements:

• Legally permitted to work in the United States

The expected pay range for this role is $28.85-$34.00/hour. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
