About the job

Based within the Technology & Digital Department in Hong Kong, the Manager, Data & AI Product and Solutions is responsible for defining, prioritising, and delivering high-impact data products, AI solutions, and business intelligence capabilities that create measurable value across Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The role works closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and technology partners to transform business challenges into scalable, user-focused solutions. The Manager, Data & AI Product and Solutions reports to the Data & AI Solutions Lead.

As Manager, Data & AI Product and Solutions, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Own and manage the Data & AI product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, strategic objectives, and measurable outcomes.

• Partner with business leaders across guest experience, hotel operations, commercial, revenue management, marketing, and corporate functions to identify and shape high-value AI and analytics opportunities.

• Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and delivery priorities while driving stakeholder alignment.

• Lead product discovery activities, including problem definition, user journey mapping, prioritisation, adoption planning, and value measurement.

• Work closely with engineering, data, IT, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable Data & AI products.

• Drive user adoption, change management, governance, and performance tracking to ensure solutions deliver lasting business impact.

As Manager, Data & AI Product and Solutions, we expect from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline; postgraduate studies are advantageous.

• At least five years of experience in product management, business intelligence, analytics, AI, automation, or data-driven digital solutions.

• Proven experience delivering data products, BI dashboards, AI solutions, analytics platforms, or automation initiatives in a business environment.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, BI tools, and modern AI capabilities, including machine learning, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), APIs, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with Python, AI agents, Generative AI workflows, AI-assisted development tools, or rapid application prototyping is highly desirable.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams and influence decision-making at all levels.

• A product mindset focused on user adoption, business value, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement.
