Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our clients. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain designated areas, including offices, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops
• Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards clients and colleagues
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and thoroughness
• Good communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Availability to work full-time, including weekends and evenings
• Must be able to provide a police clearance certificate
