Job Title: Cleaner

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients' facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good time management skills and attention to detail
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Contract Details:
This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to start immediately.
