Job Description Summary
As a Process Engineer in our Wind Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll define how things get made, ensure the shop floor runs to specification, and help drive quality into every step of production. This is a hands-on role where your technical input has a direct and visible impact on what we ship to customers around the world.You'll be part of a close-knit manufacturing engineering function, working alongside design, production, and quality teams to translate product requirements into practical, efficient processes — and to solve the real problems that come up when theory meets the factory floor.
Job Description
What You'll Do
Define, document, and control production processes including tooling, equipment selection, and work sequencing to meet quality and output targets.
Validate design specifications against shop floor application — reviewing new products, tools, and equipment before they go into production.
Identify process gaps, deviations, or inefficiencies and work with senior team members to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support the introduction of new manufacturing methods, working cross-functionally with design and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
Maintain and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect current best practice.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor, applying engineering judgment to resolve day-to-day operational challenges within established guidelines.
Who You Are
You're an early-career engineer with a solid foundation in process or manufacturing engineering, someone who is comfortable working within structured processes while building the skills and confidence to take on greater ownership over time. You ask questions, document your work, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
1-3 years of experience in process engineering
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, and technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred
Exposure to wind energy, heavy manufacturing, or complex assembly environments.
Familiarity with quality tools such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), control plans, or process capability studies.
Experience working within structured ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) environments.
