Job Description

Responsible for the database development and maintenance for assigned area. Approves proposed project plans and database designs to ensure projects area aligned with standards and IT strategy. Allocates appropriate resources to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other database systems. Approves database analysis and development policies, standards and procedures. Manages the coordination and facilitates the design, implementation and control of data management concepts and techniques. Makes recommendation's on data base development in assigned areas. Analyzes long term requirements of data base administration and design to meet current and future business needs.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of related experience in database and information systems environments

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of database systems and technology, especially industry specific applications
- Thorough technical and business knowledge of the business units supported, including organization policies and procedures
- Strong analytical, project management and tactical planning skills
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00
