Summary:

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist provides operational and program support through coordination of employee experience initiatives, HR programs, workforce reporting, employee communications, compliance activities, and department operations. This role serves as a liaison among HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, leaders, and employees to facilitate the effective delivery of HR programs and services while providing a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned, including filing and processing mail.Collects and enters data into the department's software systems application(s).Prepares communications and reports using desktop software.Answers phones, greets visitors, and responds to general inquiries.

Required Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant Human Resources experience or an Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field plus one (1) year of relevant experience. Ability to analyze HR metrics and prepare reports and presentations. Ability to coordinate multiple projects, programs, and initiatives simultaneously. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.Knowledge and experience using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) preferred.Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field; Human Resources certification; experience using an HRIS such as Workday.
