Marsh’s Workforce & Rewards practice is seeking a Operations and Financial Coordinator to join our Toronto or Montreal team.

Partnering with the Canada Workforce & Rewards Practice Leader, you’ll manage operations, financial forecasting, and staffing budgets, while supporting consultants and strategic initiatives.

You’ll deliver financial reports and analysis and execute cross functional projects with urgency and attention to detail.

This role is well suited for someone with experience managing and integrating data across multiple financial systems.

This is a hybrid role that requires at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly business performance analysis

• Analyze and prepare sales and financial budgets

• Integrate data across different systems/sources to identify trends

• Support our FP&A team with additional practice-level analysis

• Support staffing strategy, including coordination of requisitions / budget with HR and finance

• Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships across the organization

What you need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment. Interest in the inner workings of managing a multi-million-dollar enterprise, its businesses and its people.

• Degree or diploma in business, finance, or accounting

• Experience in professional services preferred

• Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.

• Independent, self-starter able to work at a face pace and under pressure.

• Manage various high-profile activities simultaneously with strong project management capability.

• Experience managing demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited resources or information.

• Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

• Very high standards of quality, accuracy and timeliness, with a bias to execution

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills include developing coherent and concise emails and presentations.

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Agile with collaborative working tools such as SharePoint, Teams and other emerging tools.

• BComm, HBA/MBA, MIR, or a related degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources, and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $57,000 to $94,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
