Engineering Technician

Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Additive Manufacturing and Engineering Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Additive Manufacturing and Engineering Technician position performs a diverse range of manufacturing, engineering, heat-treatment, testing, and laboratory activities within the department and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies while developing expertise in a highly specialized field.

 

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday-Friday, first shift
• 40 hours per week with flexible start/end times. Overtime available.
• Competitive hourly compensation with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support advanced manufacturing equipment, including Direct Energy Deposition (DED) systems.
• Utilize CAD and 3D printing technologies to support customer projects.
• Assist with a variety of technical and engineering support activities.
• Collaborate closely with a small, high-performing team serving Rolls-Royce aerospace programs.
• Troubleshoot, learn new processes, and contribute to innovative customer solutions.

Skills / Qualifications

• Experience with 3D printing, CAD, machining, CNC programming, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on diverse projects.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn specialized technologies and grow into a subject matter expert.
