Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC

Responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing Pump/Abatement/Chiller equipment to improve product quality, driving yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. Identify, diagnose and resolve equipment related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDC methodology. Coordinate and carry out equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handle new equipment qualifications and managing, audit and collaborate with equipment suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives. Responsible for supervising the health of their assigned equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and providing proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:

1\. Fab process areas and associated equipment;

2\. Utility systems provided by facilities, including pumps, chillers, and abatement systems;

3\. SPC (Statistical Process Control) principles for monitoring and improving process performance;

4\. Diagnosing equipment issues and addressing root cause;

5\. Process flow troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions;

6\. Data extraction, analysis, and reporting for performance metrics;

7\. Semiconductor processor and memory development and manufacturing experience; and

8\. Automation skills through previous automation projects requiring coding/machine learning/JMP Scripting.
