Director, HR Business Consulting

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an accomplished and inspiring Director of HR to shape the people agenda and elevate the teammate experience across our CEMEA territory. Based in our Netherlands office, this role has broad leadership responsibility across Israel, Turkey, South Africa, the UAE, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Poland.

This is a high-impact regional leadership role with the opportunity to influence how Nike supports, engages and enables teammates across a diverse and dynamic portfolio of countries. Leading a team of HR Consultants, you will set the strategic direction for HR service delivery across both Nike retail stores and corporate teams, translating business priorities into a compelling and consistent people experience.

You bring the confidence, judgment and enterprise perspective to simplify complexity, establish clear priorities and lead through change. Combining deep HR expertise with strong business acumen, you build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, anticipate emerging needs and create scalable solutions that strengthen organizational performance and the teammate experience.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will play a visible leadership role across multiple countries, drawing on the scale, expertise and partnership of our Global and European teams. As a trusted strategic advisor and thought leader to the CEMEA leadership team, you will shape decisions, challenge constructively and translate the territory’s business objectives into an actionable people agenda.

You will own and drive the CEMEA HR roadmap, ensuring that regional and country-specific priorities are focused, connected and delivered with impact. Using business insight, external perspective and a deep understanding of the territory, you will identify opportunities to simplify, scale and strengthen how HR operates across the portfolio, while raising standards and accelerating the adoption of best practices.

You and your territory team will lead the delivery of integrated HR solutions across the Nike business. Your remit spans advising leaders on complex and sensitive matters, designing and implementing scalable HR solutions, building manager capability, overseeing critical program delivery, and ensuring country-specific legal, regulatory, compensation and benefits requirements are addressed with rigor. You will connect these priorities into a coherent regional approach that enables the business to move with confidence and speed.

As a leader of leaders and trusted escalation point, you will create the conditions for your team to deliver at its best. You will coach, develop and inspire HR talent; establish clear outcomes and performance measures; and make deliberate resource and prioritization decisions as business needs evolve. You will set a high bar for service, judgment and impact, while building a strong, engaged and future-ready Consulting team.

You will quickly build a deep understanding of the business, workforce and market dynamics across the territory. In close partnership with People Solutions, EMEA HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise, you will connect insight to action, influence enterprise solutions and deliver an exceptional experience for teammates and managers.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Nike is a highly collaborative environment, and your impact will extend across a broad ecosystem of business and HR leaders. You will lead the CEMEA Consulting team and partner closely with the EMEA HQ HR organization, EMEA HR Business Partners (who own the functional leader partnership) and Centers of Expertise to align priorities, mobilize expertise and deliver integrated people solutions. You will build strong connections with HR leaders in other territories to share insight, scale best practices and shape how the function evolves. As a key member of the territory leadership team, you will be a trusted thought partner to senior business leaders across retail and Corporate, bringing challenge, coaching and an enterprise perspective while ensuring that territory priorities remain connected to Nike’s People Strategy.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Significant, progressive experience in business-facing HR leadership, including advising senior executives and shaping people strategies within a large, complex organization.
• Deep, broad-based expertise across the HR agenda, with the credibility to integrate programs, policies and specialist perspectives into practical business solutions.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect commercial context, market trends and organizational priorities to talent and team outcomes.
• A track record of influencing at senior levels, building trust across functions and aligning diverse stakeholders around clear decisions and shared outcomes.
• Proven people leadership, with the ability to set direction, build capability and develop, engage and retain a high-performing team.
• Exceptional judgment and a solution-oriented mindset, with the confidence to navigate ambiguity, manage risk and make thoughtful trade-offs in complex situations.
• Meaningful experience operating across multiple countries and cultures, with a strong appreciation of regional nuance and local legal and regulatory environments.
• The ability to move seamlessly between enterprise strategy and operational execution, maintaining pace, rigor and attention to the teammate experience.
• A data-led approach, using people analytics and business insight to identify trends, diagnose challenges, establish priorities and measure impact.
