Our client, a highly respected national property and casualty insurance organization, is seeking Property Claims Adjusters to join their claims team through a contract-to-hire opportunity. As an Associate Property Claims Adjuster, you will play an important role in supporting policyholders through the claims process following an unexpected loss. This position offers the opportunity to develop claims expertise while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Compensation
- $24/hr
Hybrid Schedule
- Generally 2-3 days in office and 2-3 days remote
- Initial training may require increased in-office attendance

Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses and continuing education requirements
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and assist in resolving claims of low complexity
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion throughout the claims process
- Communicate with customers to verify coverage, liability, damages, and claim details
- Deliver professional, empathetic customer service through phone, email, and other communication channels
- Identify potentially suspicious claims and collaborate with investigative resources as needed
- Obtain recorded statements when necessary
- Participate in formal training programs and ongoing development initiatives
- Maintain appropriate remote-work capabilities, including reliable internet access
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or currently in progress
- 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, finance, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Adaptability in a changing environment
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
