The Opportunity – Senior Warehouse Storeperson
Join our team as a Senior Warehouse Storeperson, responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching vehicle glass and related products to support our branch workshops across New Zealand. Your attention to detail and efficient inventory management skills will help ensure our Technicians receive the right products at the right time, keeping Kiwis safe on the road.
Location: Halswell, Christchurch
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily freight collections and dispatch bookings.
- Load, unload, store and dispatch glass products safely.
- Unload containers and process inbound stock accurately.
- Complete quality checks and track shipments across the network.
- Support stock control, stock counts and inventory accuracy.
- Repair and recover scratched glass to minimise waste.
- Maintain a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse environment.
- Support and share knowledge with other team members.
About you:
- 3 to 5+ years' warehousing or distribution experience
- Current Forklift license essential
- Full driver's license and proven reach truck experience essential
- Import Container unloading experience required
- Experience with dispatch, freight coordination and inventory management.
- Able to safely lift up to 25kg regularly
- Excellent communication, numerical and general computer skills.
- Stock picker, and/or counterbalance forklift experience will be highly advantageous.
Applicants must be currently based in New Zealand and have valid working rights. Pre-employment drug screening and a Ministry of Justice criminal history check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
