[What the role is]
You will be part of the Division of Public Cleanliness (DPC) to assist the organisation to deliver a high standard of public cleanliness. As part of the Performance Management Department (PMD), you will drive the implementation of the Environmental Sanitation Regime (ESR) by conducting inspections as well as leading a team of auditors to conduct inspections of specified premises, ensuring compliance with ESR standards, and working closely with stakeholders to achieve the programme's outcomes.[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct inspections across specified premises under the ESR
- Plan and manage the deployment of resources, including manpower, for the conduct of inspections across specified premises
- Ensure adherence to ESR standards and relevant legislation by overseeing audit and inspection activities
- Assess inspection findings and decide on appropriate enforcement actions for cases of non-compliance
- Empower and engage stakeholders, including Sectoral Leads, Environmental Control Officers or Coordinators, Premises Managers to support and achieve ESR Programme outcomes.
- Manage and resolve feedback relating to ESR specified premises in a timely and effective manner
[What we are looking for]

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
- A strong team player with good communication, interpersonal and written skills
- Meticulous, well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Outgoing and approachable, with a pleasant disposition
- Mature, independent and resourceful in handling complex or ambiguous situations
- Self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- Possession of a valid Class 3 licence is an advantage as vehicles may be available for conducting ESR inspections
