Job Description Summary
The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing, leading, and optimizing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth. This role partners with Product Marketing, Content & Engagement Strategy, Regional marketing teams, and external media agencies to translate business priorities into high-performing digital campaigns and optimized digital customer experiences. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Performance Marketing
- Develop and execute omnichannel digital marketing strategies aligned to business and product objectives to drive measurable business growth.
- Lead campaign planning across paid social, display, account-based marketing (ABM), paid search, and other digital advertising channels.
- Partner with Content Strategy and Web teams to optimize campaign landing experiences, conversion paths, and digital customer journeys.
- Translate global campaign strategies into market-ready activation plans while maintaining consistency across regions.
- Continuously optimize campaign strategy, audience targeting, creative, and budget allocation using performance data and audience insights.
- Stay current on emerging AdTech, AI capabilities, and digital marketing best practices to drive innovation.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary business owner for external media agencies, ensuring high-quality execution and campaign performance.
- Hold agency partners accountable for optimization recommendations, reporting quality, and business results.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Content Strategy, and regional marketing teams to align campaign priorities, messaging, and launch plans.
- Manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders across a complex, global organization.
Performance Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor campaign, website, and marketing funnel performance, recommending data-driven optimizations to improve business outcomes.
- Apply a strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, including CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rates, engagement, and pipeline performance.
- Analyze landing page engagement, conversion, and customer journey metrics to identify opportunities to improve digital experiences.
- Leverage dashboards and reporting for performance analysis and continuous improvement.
- Present campaign insights, recommendations, and performance updates to business stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing digital advertising and performance marketing campaigns.
- Deep expertise in paid social, display advertising, account-based marketing (ABM), and paid search.
- Agency experience preferred, with demonstrated success managing external media partners.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and performance measurement.
- Understanding of digital customer journeys, landing page optimization, web analytics, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate marketing data into business recommendations.
- Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and ability to influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
