We are currently hiring for the following location(s):
Claude Moore Recreation & Community Center, Sterling, VA
Provides courteous and timely customer service to County staff, vendors, citizens, and other visitors; guides customers to the appropriate personnel. Oversees the handling of files and records within the department; facilitates the retrieval and reproduction of necessary reports for the Department. Oversees telephone communications within the office. May carry out additional critical job responsibilities pertinent to the specific role and departmental assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or related field At least one (1) year of work experience in customer service and/or front desk operations ideally in a recreation or community center setting. Experience working RecTrac Point-of-Sale System. CPRP-Certified Park & Recreation Professional. Bilingual skills are preferred.
The work schedule may be altered according to operational hours and can include both weekdays and weekends to fulfill business needs and address times of increased facility usage.
