Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome residents, visitors, and vendors; support access control and badge processes; monitor entry activity; and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain an organized environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access to the property by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and maintaining accurate visitor and vendor logs.
• Observe lobby and entrance activity, monitor cameras and building systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate professionally with property management, residents, and emergency responders while completing required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
