Role summary:The Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - CRE, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. The position requires adherence to safety regulations and quality standards while managing maintenance schedules, work orders, and contractor relationships. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment following established schedules and guidelines.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities, equipment, or fixtures while documenting wear, repair needs, and replacement recommendations.
- Lead and oversee repair projects, acting as job foreman and utilizing multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools; respond promptly to emergency repair calls.
- Manage work orders, parts inventory, and contractor compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards including OSHA.
- Provide training and guidance to junior associates and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and equipment repair across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve facility and equipment issues using blueprints, manuals, and technical resources.
- Skilled in managing maintenance schedules, work orders, and contractor oversight to ensure quality and compliance.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to guide junior associates and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with experience in documenting maintenance activities and managing parts inventory.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 7 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
1 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
