About Elite Supplements
Elite Supplements is one of Australia’s leading sports nutrition retailers, with a rapidly growing network of stores and operations across multiple international markets.
As Elite continues to grow, having consistent training, information and operational standards across the network is increasingly important.
About the Role
The Digital Learning & Knowledge Manager will own and develop Elite’s digital learning and knowledge ecosystem, including the company intranet, digital learning platform, training content and central knowledge base.
The key objective is to create a single, trusted source of information for the business and ensure employees can quickly find the information and training they need to perform their roles effectively.
Working closely with Operations, Retail, People & Culture, Marketing, Product, IT and senior leadership, the Digital Learning & Knowledge Manager will turn business knowledge into structured, engaging and practical learning that can be delivered consistently across a large and growing network.
Importantly, this role is not simply about publishing content. It is responsible for ensuring information and training from HQ is understood, completed and implemented at store level.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Learning & Development
- Own and continually improve Elite’s digital learning strategy.
- Design, build and maintain digital learning covering:
- Employee onboarding
- Product knowledge
- Sales and customer service
- Store operations
- Leadership and management
- Compliance and workplace policies
- Systems and processes
- Franchisee and international partner education
- Turn complex information into simple, engaging and practical learning content.
- Develop structured learning pathways for Retail Team Members, Assistant Managers, Store Managers, Area Managers, Support Office employees and leadership roles.
- Create assessments, knowledge checks and certification programs where appropriate.
- Regularly review learning content to ensure it remains accurate and relevant.
Intranet & Knowledge Management
- Own and manage the Elite intranet and central knowledge base.
- Establish the intranet as the single source of truth across the Elite network.
- Develop a clear information structure so employees can easily find policies, procedures, training materials, operational updates and company resources.
- Work with departments across HQ to keep information current, accurate and relevant.
- Establish clear ownership and review processes for company documents and knowledge.
- Improve the searchability, usability and engagement of the platform.
- Identify and resolve outdated, duplicated or conflicting information.
- Reduce reliance on emails, PDFs and individual employees as sources of operational knowledge.
Training Content & Production
Create high-quality digital training materials, including:
- E-learning modules
- Training videos
- How-to guides and SOPs
- Product education
- Sales and customer service training
- Leadership and operational training
- Assessments and quizzes
Work with internal subject matter experts to capture their knowledge and convert it into scalable training.
Where required, coordinate video production, graphic design, voiceover and other internal or external resources to produce professional learning content.
Retail & Network Capability
- Work closely with Operations, Area Managers and Store Managers to identify recurring knowledge and capability gaps.
- Use store feedback, operational performance and training data to identify areas requiring additional education.
- Develop learning programs that support sales performance, product knowledge, customer experience, operational standards and leadership capability.
- Ensure major business initiatives, new products, systems and operational changes are supported by appropriate training before rollout.
- Establish a repeatable process for turning new business initiatives into network-wide training.
Onboarding
Develop and maintain a consistent digital onboarding experience across Elite, with structured pathways for:
Retail Team Members → Assistant Managers → Store Managers → Area Managers → Support Office
Ensure new employees receive the appropriate training, information and resources for their role.
Work with People & Culture and Operations to monitor onboarding completion, identify gaps and continually improve the onboarding experience.

Develop reporting that provides management with visibility over:
- Training completion

- Onboarding completion
- Compliance training
- Learning performance by store, region and role
Provide regular reporting to leadership on the effectiveness and adoption of Elite’s learning and knowledge platforms.
Use learning and engagement data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement and establish clear accountability for mandatory and business-critical training.

Continuous improvement focused – continually looks for ways to improve learning, systems and the employee experience.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12 months, the Digital Learning & Knowledge Manager will have:
- Established the Elite intranet as the recognised single source of truth across the business.
- Created structured digital learning pathways for all major retail roles.
- Improved onboarding consistency across the network.
- Built a comprehensive product and sales education program for retail teams.

- Built a scalable learning and knowledge platform capable of supporting Elite’s continued Australian and international expansion.
Why This Role Matters
As Elite continues to grow, information and training can no longer rely on being passed from person to person. The organisation’s systems, knowledge and training need to scale with the business.
The Digital Learning & Knowledge Manager will ensure that whether someone works at HQ, an Australian retail store, a franchise location or within an international market, they have access to the same Elite knowledge, training and standards.
