Position Overview:
As a Radiology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department. Your responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, implementing quality control measures, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Your leadership will contribute to the efficient functioning of the radiology team and the overall success of the healthcare facility. Essential Functions

- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of radiologic technologists, sonographers and support staff.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional development.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of radiology personnel.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of radiology procedures to optimize workflow.
- Implement and monitor department quality measures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including state, federal, accrediting bodies, and readiness for surveys.
- Coordinate and provide ongoing training to staff on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic services.
- Maintain duties as Radiation Safety Officer.
- Work as an active member of the team performing exams (+ call) in qualified modalities unless fully staffed.

Requirements
Required
- Associate Of Science in radiologic technology or related field
- Minimum 1 year supervisory/ management experience
- California certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license (ARRT)(R), CT license or on-the-job equivalence required
- Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Venipuncture Certificate required within 6 months of hire
- BLS certificate
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field
- Several years of progressive experience in radiology, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Proven experience and ability to manage a diversified patient care service.
- Mammography and/or Magnetic Imaging license preferred
