POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you excited by the idea of creating something new and contributing to making healthcare better? Do you enjoy the challenge of problem-solving to come up with a working design that will be used in the real world? Are you enticed by the thought of creating the right solution that will improve the quality of life for patients and make the work of heath care professionals easier and more effective? Then this is the role for you!
We have an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team developing the next generation of technology that will help shape the future of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions that integrate seamlessly with a broader ecosystem of embedded electronics, connected devices, and mechanical systems. You will contribute across the product development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through verification, validation, and product launch, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate closely with software, electrical, systems, and mechanical engineers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality products. We are seeking engineers who are passionate about innovation, thrive in a collaborative environment, and have a proven ability to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions that create meaningful impact for patients and clinicians.
We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop and maintain applications running on embedded Linux devices within a regulated medical device environment. This is an individual contributor role requiring the application of professional engineering expertise, sound technical judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing user interfaces using Qt, enabling communication between embedded devices, supporting system integration activities, and troubleshooting deployed applications. Working closely with embedded software, electronics, systems, and product development teams, the engineer will apply established engineering principles and analytical problem-solving skills to deliver robust, high-quality solutions. The role requires a degree or equivalent experience a minimum of 2 or more years experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate technical information and make informed decisions in support of product development objectives.
