Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves managing and enhancing data infrastructure to support business analytics and reporting needs. The role includes developing and refining data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring data quality and accessibility. Collaboration with team members to address data challenges and streamline workflows is a key part of daily activities, along with monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to maintain smooth data operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve data pipeline efficiency and reliability.
- Document processes and workflows to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python Frameworks, Ab Initio.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Ab Initio.
- Strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience with SQL query development and optimization for large-scale data warehouses.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques involving APIs, flat files, and cloud storage solutions.
- Knowledge of data quality management and data analytics within complex business domains.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python Frameworks.
- This position is based at our JPDC3A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
