Hours of operation: June 1 – October 1 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
October 2 – May 31 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Mandatory rotating on-call.

Expected Hiring Range: $21.68 - $26.56 hourly
- Placement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget.
Salary Range: $21.68 - $31.44 hourly
- Performs routine skilled maintenance and/or landscaping tasks; uses a variety of hand and power tools; inspects, cleans, and performs routine maintenance work on truck and equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems.
- Provides service to internal and external customers.
- Performs work duties and operates a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilizes asset management software to track and manage work orders. Call, clear, and document Blue Stake.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or training.
- Over three (3) years of street construction/maintenance/landscaping experience or closely related field.
- Valid Arizona Driver License.
- Valid Class A CDL w/Tanker Endorsement and/or AZ Certified Pesticide Applicator or must obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Subject to random testing per DOT (FMCSA) requirements.
- Must complete a pre-employment physical including an audiogram and pass a 50-pound lift test.
- Must complete both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AZ Certified Pesticide Applicator License plus over three (3) years of street construction/maintenance/landscaping experience.
- Experience working in a Municipality/Government setting.
- Valid Class A CDL w/Tanker Endorsement.
