What You Will Do

As a Quality Engineer, where you will contribute to ensuring the highest standards of quality in our processes and products. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support program activities and drive quality improvements.

What You Will Learn

• Collaborating with a team of quality engineers to support program activities.
• Managing out-of-flow material by generating documentation to return non-compliant hardware to suppliers.
• Reviewing materials for proper disposition, including scrap and material review board processes.
• Tracking and reporting out-of-flow metrics during daily tier meetings.
• Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Developing and presenting PowerPoint slides to communicate findings and solutions.
• Utilizing SAP systems to manage quality-related data and processes.
• Applying knowledge of soldering requirements in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with root cause and corrective action methodologies.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
• Prior experience using SAP systems for quality processes.
• Knowledge of soldering requirements in accordance with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 51,500 USD - 97,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
