Job Overview

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming materials from suppliers and internal locations while supporting daily receiving operations. This position ensures materials are accurately received in company systems and that damage, shortages, and discrepancies are identified and communicated promptly. The Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting a safe, organized, and efficient receiving environment.

 

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Highlights of your role

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.

• Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate receiving records and update inventory systems as required.

• Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and inventory audits.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving, warehouse, and dock areas.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resolution of receiving issues.

• Adhere to all safety policies and actively contribute to a safe work environment

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• High School diploma or GED required

• Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory management systems required

• Previous warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience preferred

• Experience using barcode scanners, inventory tracking systems, or warehouse management software required

Compensation

Starting at $21.50/hr, based on experience
