Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor leads daily warehouse, mailroom, and lobby operations. This role supervises the warehouse team, Mail Clerks, and the Lobby Ambassador/Receptionist, making sure freight, mail, packages, and visitors are handled safely, accurately, and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team Leadership: Schedule, train, and coach all staff; run daily huddles, set goals, and complete performance evaluations.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, cycle counts, and outbound shipping.
• Mailroom & Lobby Oversight: Ensure mail is delivered on time and lobby security procedures are followed.
• Safety & Security: Enforce OSHA standards, equipment certifications, and suspicious package protocols.
• Vendor Relations & Cost Control: Manage vendors and carriers; monitor supply spending, overtime, and invoices.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports on volumes, labor, and accuracy; recommend improvements.
• Audits & Compliance: Conduct inventory, safety, mailroom, and lobby audits; track corrective actions to completion.
• Weekly & Monthly Meetings: Lead weekly team meetings and monthly operations reviews with management and clients.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in logistics or business preferred
• 3–5 years of warehouse, mailroom, or logistics experience, including 1–2 years supervising
• Inventory Systems: Proven background using inventory management systems (WMS)
• Supplies & Parts: Experience managing supplies and parts, including ordering and stock control
• Certifications: Current forklift and electric pallet jack certifications required
• OSHA Compliance: Working knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety standards
• Reporting & Audits: Skilled in Excel/KPI reporting, conducting audits, and leading meetings
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods
