About us: CGI Digital helps small businesses grow through digital marketing that increases visibility, generates leads, and connects them with their communities. We're looking for a Paid Marketing Specialist who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and learning new technology. This is an entry-level training position designed to develop you into a Google Ads Coordinator, where you'll manage client relationships, recommend advertising strategies, and help businesses grow. Previous Google Ads experience is not required. We're looking for someone with the skills and motivation to learn.

What you'll do

You'll support our Google Ads Coordinators while learning how to manage advertising campaigns independently.

• Build and optimize campaigns: Assist with Google Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Local Services Ads.
• Improve performance: Review keywords, search terms, negative keywords, ad copy, bidding, and budgets.
• Analyze results: Monitor clicks, conversions, cost per lead, and other performance metrics.
• Support reporting: Learn Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio to track and communicate results.
• Assist with onboarding: Help launch new campaigns, prepare reports, and participate in client meetings.
• Learn and grow: Take on more responsibility as you develop your technical and communication skills.

What we're looking for

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with Google Ads, particularly Search campaigns, keywords, and campaign performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Ability to learn new software, advertising platforms, and processes quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in digital marketing, online advertising, and helping small businesses grow.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in digital marketing, paid advertising, or a related field.
• Google Ads certification or relevant coursework in digital marketing.
• Experience analyzing performance data and making recommendations based on results.
• Experience working in an agency environment or supporting multiple clients or projects.
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or Looker Studio. * Previous customer service, account management, or client-facing experience.

Compensation, benefits and growth

• Base Salary Range: $45,000-$48,000
• Quarterly performance bonus: Tied to client retention & account growth: target 5K a year
