What your typical day will look like:
As an HR Change & Adoption Manager (6-Month Contract), you will play a key role in driving the successful adoption of HR transformation initiatives across the APAC region. Working closely with the Global HR Systems (Workday) team, HR Centres of Excellence, HR Transformation leads, and regional HR stakeholders, you will ensure new processes, system enhancements, and transformation programmes are effectively embedded into the business through structured change management, communication, and learning initiatives.
You will act as the bridge between global strategy and regional execution, tailoring global change approaches to meet local market needs while ensuring a consistent employee experience across the region. From assessing business readiness and developing change plans to delivering engaging communications and training, you will help employees, managers, and HR teams confidently adopt new ways of working.
Your day-to-day work will involve partnering with cross-functional teams to assess change impacts, design communication and adoption strategies, create engaging learning content, and support the rollout of Workday releases and key HR transformation programmes. You'll also analyse adoption metrics, gather stakeholder feedback, and continuously refine change initiatives to maximise user engagement, improve the overall Workday experience, and ensure lasting business adoption across APAC.
Core responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end change management activities for Workday releases, HR transformation programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring successful adoption across APAC markets.
- Partner with Global HR Systems, HR Centres of Excellence, and regional stakeholders to assess change impacts, develop business readiness plans, and localise global change initiatives for regional implementation.
- Design and deliver engaging communication, learning, and adoption materials including training sessions, user guides, FAQs, demos, videos, and other digital learning resources to enhance the Workday user experience.
- Develop and maintain change plans, communication strategies, and supporting documentation to ensure stakeholders are well-informed, prepared, and confident throughout the change journey.
- Build and support regional user communities, champions, and super-user networks to encourage knowledge sharing, self-service adoption, and long-term engagement with Workday and HR processes.
- Monitor adoption metrics, gather user feedback, and provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve change effectiveness, user engagement, and system adoption across the region.
- Build strong partnerships with HR teams, business stakeholders, and project teams, while supporting ad hoc HR transformation initiatives and driving continuous improvement in employee experience.
A bit about you:
- At least 6 years of experience in Change Management, HR Transformation, HR Technology, Learning & Development, or HR Project Management, with proven experience supporting organisational or system change initiatives.
- Hands-on experience supporting Workday within an HR environment, with proven exposure to system implementations, releases, user adoption, business readiness, and change management activities.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and learning strategies, with the ability to translate technical changes into practical business outcomes.
- Confident facilitator and communicator, with experience designing and delivering engaging training sessions, workshops, presentations, and change communications for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop user-friendly learning materials, videos, guides, and digital content that improve employee engagement and encourage system adoption.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret adoption data, and continuously improve change approaches based on feedback and insights.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across regional and global teams in a fast-paced transformation environment.
