Directs and leads strategy for assigned Geisinger institutes and platforms aligned with their respective business development plans to support revenue and market share growth. Create regional strategies using geo-targeted data to support local platform business plans. Implement a framework that aligns with business development plans and strategies designed to ultimately enhance the Geisinger brand, engage patients, increase market share, and achieve business goals. Partner with institute leaders, vice presidents, operations managers, physician leaders, facility leaders and strategy and business development team to support organizational priorities and achieve optimal results.Job Duties:
- Helps develop proactive marketing strategies, marketing plans and initiatives to attract and retain customers (patients and members) to Geisinger, support business strategies for assigned clinical institutes and local platform.
- Facilitates the execution of strategic plans seeing projects to successful completion within defined budgets and timelines.
- Keeps abreast of the regional competitive environment, clinical advances, technological enhancements and industry trends.
- Understands the business objectives of the organization at the system, institute and platform level and applies that understanding to marketing strategy development.
- Monitors issues that could negatively affect Geisinger’s brand or services in the region; notifies appropriate executives and personnel; assists with managing crisis communication programming in the region, including social media issues.
- Participates in key institute and platform operational and leadership meetings.
- Provides reports on marketing plan results.
- Supervises and directs staff to ensure productivity is maximized and specified goals and quality standards are met.
- Develops professionalism and scope of expertise.
- Manages a consistent process for marketing plan development and implementation.
- Provides project management oversight for implementation of specific marketing plans with support from dedicated project managers.
- Effectively manages multiple assignments.
