Senior Contract Manager

About the role:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join a leading infrastructure organisation in Brisbane on an initial 4-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded professional who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and can hit the ground running.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day management of major service and maintenance contracts, ensuring commercial, contractual and compliance obligations are met.
• Provide expert advice on contract performance, claims, variations, risks and dispute resolution.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, service providers and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and outcomes.
• Monitor supplier performance, KPIs and governance requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk and deliver greater value across contract operations.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and contract documentation for senior stakeholders.

About you:

• Proven experience managing complex, performance-based contracts in a senior contract management or contract supervision role.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk management and governance frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
