Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Stage Windows & Doors products and services, including windows, patio doors, entry doors, accessories, hardware, glass options, installation applications, and product performance characteristics.
- Build a strong knowledge foundation of Stage's operations, manufacturing processes, typical installations, accessories, and product performance characteristics.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers by providing product recommendations, technical information, literature, samples, and support materials.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers by providing exceptional customer service and timely support.
- Understand customer needs and recommend products and solutions that best meet project requirements.
- Build customer loyalty by delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout every interaction.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of dealer, builder, contractor, and distributor accounts, building strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service. Provide account updates, sales activities, and business opportunities to the Senior Order Desk Manager.
- Establishing schedules for client meetings to establish and foster relationships.
- Grow existing customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Achieve individual sales and account growth objectives.
- Prepare accurate quotations while ensuring customer specifications, pricing, and project requirements are properly reviewed.
- Follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Promote the full Stage product portfolio and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and networking events as required.
- Support profitability objectives by ensuring quotations, pricing, and project requirements are accurately reviewed. Work collaboratively with Finance and other departments to address pricing inquiries, customer requirements, and account-related opportunities.
- Staying informed of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales, marketing, and management strategies accordingly
- Manage customer projects from quotation through production and final delivery.
- Review orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, pricing, specifications, and production requirements.
- Monitor project timelines and communicate updates proactively to customers.
- Coordinate with Estimating, Production, Scheduling, Shipping, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Resolve order discrepancies, scheduling concerns, delivery issues, and customer requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, order history, and project documentation within company systems.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Stage's internal systems, including FeneVision, to assist customers with system navigation, order inquiries, and training when required.
- Work closely with AutoCAD Technicians and assist customers in understanding drawings and technical details related to their projects.
- Recommend appropriate solutions based on customer requirements.
- Participate in ongoing product and technical training to remain knowledgeable about new products and manufacturing capabilities.
- Work closely with Production to develop a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes, product construction, and customer solutions.
- Handle customer complaints, warranty inquiries, and service-related issues while working collaboratively with internal departments to achieve timely resolutions.
- Conduct professional showroom and manufacturing facility tours for prospective and existing customers.
- Present Stage's products, manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, and value-added services during customer visits.
- Represent Stage Windows & Doors professionally while strengthening customer relationships and promoting the company's brand.
- Prepare weekly reports on account activity, sales pipeline, customer visits, and business opportunities.
- Monitor customer purchasing trends and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support continuous improvement and future business strategies.
- Ensure all customer information is maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum 3–5 years of Account Management, Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Business Development experience, preferably within the window and door, construction, manufacturing, or building materials industry.
- Experience managing customer accounts and building long-term business relationships.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications; AutoCAD knowledge is considered an asset.
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems; FeneVision experience is considered a strong asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with the ability to travel for customer meetings when required.
- This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Vaughan facility.
- Office-based role within the Order Desk Department with frequent collaboration across Sales, Estimating, AutoCAD, Production, Scheduling, Customer Service, Shipping, and Finance.
- Frequent communication with customers through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
- Occasional travel throughout Ontario to visit customers, conduct showroom and plant tours, attend trade shows, and support business development initiatives.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business and customer requirements.
