Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge Services in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and communicating clearly with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and support emergency response activities according to post orders and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
