Hiring Unit:
Department of Psychology
Position Summary:
- Follow and refine study protocols that ensure ethical and high-quality collection of study data within the Tulip Lab.
- Manage and prepare research ethics board submissions; track and assist in the reporting of ethics-related issues; engage with ethics amendments.
- Prepare reports for the Data Safety Monitoring Board, Inc. adverse event reporting and protocol deviations.
- Oversee the scheduling of assessment appointments for study participants, including corresponding with prospective and actual study participants and ensuring compensation of actual study participants.
- Ensure participants complete study components in methodologically correct ways
- Assist with reviewing screening data for prospective study participants
- Monitor data quality and engage in data cleaning and preparation.
- Engage with literature reviews
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft excel
Experience and Education:
- Honours undergraduate degree in psychology or equivalent
- Experience with psychological research coordination
- Experience with leading a team
