Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings and Smart Power division in Malaysia. Main stakeholders are ABB commercial and technical customers, internal local and regional Sales and Marketing team.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s marketing initiatives, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
- Assisting in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Support the creation engaging social media content and email marketing content.
- Assisting in organizing marketing events and webinars.
- Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
- Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
Qualifications for the role
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business / Marketing / Communication or similar fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu is a plus
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts and social media platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Having knowledge in using graphic design or video editing tools is a plus
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Creative thinking with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
