Description
Teaching and Learning
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical teaching sessions effectively in line with the approved curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools to support student learning outcomes.
- Ensure teaching delivery reflects current nursing practice, research, and industry standards.
- Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and clinical assessments.
Student Support and Mentorship
- Provide academic advising, guidance, and mentorship to students.
- Supervise students during clinical placements, ensuring they meet professional and ethical standards.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Curriculum and Programme Development
- Participate in curriculum review and improvement to ensure relevance and compliance with accreditation requirements (e.g., MQA, Nursing Board Malaysia).
- Contribute to the development of new modules or programmes as required.
Research and Scholarly Activities
- Engage in research, scholarly writing, and professional development to enhance academic expertise.
- Present and publish research findings in relevant academic or professional forums.
Administrative and Institutional Contribution
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and academic events.
- Support university initiatives, community outreach, and student engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate academic and administrative records.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Master with Post Basic (For Nursing)
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) from the Nursing Board Malaysia.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Knowledge and Experiences:
