[What the role is]
School of Hospitality - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Continuing Education & Training)[What you will be working on]
• Deliver planned curriculum to adult learners in continuing education training (CET) programmes on scheduled weekdays, weeknights or occasional weekends.
• Perform curriculum development, lesson design, course delivery and module(s) supervision roles in at least two of the following subject areas:
• AI Literacy, Digital transformation, and emerging technologies
• Hospitality Innovation, Technology and Sustainability
• Revenue Optimization and Management
• Service Quality and Customer Experience
• Culinary Arts and Entrepreneurship
• Facilitate students’ learning, perform assessment grading, and other academic duties such as invigilation.
• Deliver and update of training materials, including manuals, guides and instructional videos.
• Maintain accurate training records and provide regular reports to management on training outcomes and areas of improvement.
[What we are looking for]
• At least 8-10 years of relevant industry experience in hospitality, education, marketing, business development and/or consultancy.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong industry links and exposures in related industry and sectors.
• Experience in developing a curriculum or providing training in a client-facing environment.
• Experience in designing or delivering training related to AI, digital transformation, automation, data analytics, or emerging technologies would be advantageous.
• Applicants with WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) and the WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) accreditation would be an advantage.
