POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for driving customer experience and delivering operational efficiency. You will work closely with the wider Thermo Fisher Customer Care organization as well the IES service and commercial teams to ensure a great and consistent customer experience for our customers. You will be also responsible for deliver to mutually agreed goals to the highest performance standards.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Take the lead on new assignments and projects, as part of a team or on an individual basis.
Interact with customers and vendors and taking part in sales discussions.
Manage and maintain vendor contract information.
Taking part in invoicing processes.
Maintain supplier database.
Manage the process for escalated inquiries and complaints to resolution, without managerial support.
Assess the need for change and implement in order to increase productivity.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
0-2 experience preferably in a purchasing, bookkeeping or customer care environment.
Vocational Training or Bachelor's is preferred but not essential.
Fluency of the English Language both written and verbal. Any other European language knowledge is an advantage.
Proven Microsoft Office user (Outlook, Excel)
Experience with SAP or other ERP preferred but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Negotiating skills/attitude is a plus.
Must have the ability to prioritize and solve problems and to multi-task under deadlines.
Display stringent attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace.
