Corporate Accounts Payable (CAP) is a global operations function supporting 42 countries. This Senior Operations Consultant will sit within the Corporate Card team that administers the Global Corporate Card Program and will lead modernization across Card, Concur, related processes, data, and technology. The role will translate the Card roadmap and CAP strategy into sequenced, executable initiatives that improve controls, simplify the operating model, reduce manual effort, strengthen data quality, and improve the employee and stakeholder experience. The consultant will partner across business, technology, product, finance, risk, control, issuer, and regional teams to prepare for Oracle migration and advance automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and sustainable future-state operations. This is a transformation and execution role requiring progressive talent, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to move complex work forward beyond operational BAU.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services in an operations environment using subject matter expertise
- Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives
- Advises as a technical expert in assigned area by providing work direction, guidance, and training to employees and business partners on new complex initiatives
- Builds relationships with business partners across various Lines of Business
- Manages and defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key program and projects
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution for complex Card and Concur modernization initiatives, converting strategic priorities into defined scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive key roadmap priorities, including Concur integration and platform simplification, reduction of manual accounting activities, workflow and reporting automation, data modernization, and Oracle migration readiness.
- Partner with technology and product teams to define business requirements, assess solution options, coordinate testing and implementation, and validate that changes improve control effectiveness, scalability, data integrity, and user experience.
- Advance automation and AI-enabled opportunities across card issuance, maintenance, reporting, governance, monitoring, exception analysis, and recurring administrative activities while preserving required human judgment and approvals.
- Support future-state global issuer and Local Issuing Bank operating-model enhancements through standardized governance, performance reporting, direct-source data access, controls, and accountability routines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex operational, process, technology, or transformation initiatives from definition through implementation.
- Strong project-management discipline, including scope, milestone, dependency, risk, issue, decision, and action management.
- Ability to analyze complex processes and data, identify root causes and control considerations, and translate findings into practical solutions.
- Experience developing business requirements and partnering with technology teams through design, testing, implementation, and production stabilization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise executive materials and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate across business, technology, product, finance, risk, and control partners without direct authority.
- Strong judgment, ownership, learning agility, and follow-through, with the ability to independently advance ambiguous or cross-functional work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated aptitude for data, reporting, workflow, automation, or AI-enabled tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, highly controlled operating environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with corporate card, employee expense reimbursement, Accounts Payable, payments, or financial operations.
- Experience with SAP Concur, Oracle, Works, Appian, corporate card platforms, or related financial systems and integrations.
- Experience modernizing global processes, reducing manual work, improving data quality, or implementing workflow and reporting automation.
- Knowledge of corporate card administration, issuer or Local Issuing Bank operating models, transaction feeds, reconciliation, expense-policy controls, and exception management.
- Experience with AI-enabled analysis, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Query, advanced analytics, dashboards, or similar automation capabilities.
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps, business cases, investment proposals, operating models, governance frameworks, or executive decision materials.
- Understanding of risk management, control design, auditability, data integrity, and change-management expectations in a regulated environment.
- Experience supporting Oracle migration, enterprise platform transformation, system testing, release planning, or production readiness.
- Demonstrated curiosity and progressive mindset, with a history of challenging legacy processes and translating emerging technology into controlled, sustainable business improvements.
