OVERVIEW
The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for a part-time Coordinator I position within the department for Risk Management & Insurance. We anticipate this position to have a full-time equivalency (FTE) of .25 or 10 hours per week.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00/hr
The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administrative Support for the RM&I program
- Maintain calendar and schedule meetings
- Create correspondence - letters, and emails
- Maintain and manage record-keeping systems of the program
- Respond to program inquiries
- Order office supplies and equipment
- Make travel arrangements for the director and students to attend RM&I events
Advisory Board Support
- Board meetings - coordinate schedules, arrange space, catering, Zoom, gather agenda items and other meeting materials, minutes
- Executive Committee meetings - coordinate schedules, arrange space, Zoom, gather agenda items, minutes
- Coordinate subcommittee meetings throughout the year
- Coordinate the scheduling of meetings with potential new board members, letters to incoming and reappointed board members, including sending other materials
- Board charter – update as needed, including board contact directory
- Coordinate board appointments and tracking
Budget support
- Monitor and approve requisitions
- Monitor and supervise the RM&I budget
- Monitor and reconcile the director’s Wells One
Website and communication support
- Maintain information on the program website
- Create program materials
Event support
- Reservations and catering orders
- Communication and publicity
- Speaker arrangements and honoraria
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or the equivalent
- Two years of administrative support experience (office management, working with students)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a higher education setting
