Description
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the organization, inventory, receiving, and distribution of food products, beverages, supplies, and other Food & Beverage items throughout Berglund Center. This position plays an important behind-the-scenes role in ensuring concessions stands, kitchens, catering areas, and other event locations are properly stocked and ready for each event.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. The Warehouse Coordinator must be comfortable managing inventory, completing transfer documentation, receiving deliveries, and quickly moving products throughout the facility to meet the needs of events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive deliveries from food, beverage, and supply vendors and verify quantities and products against invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders.
Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, damage, proper packaging, and appropriate temperatures when applicable.
Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Maintain accurate inventory of food products, beverages, paper goods, cleaning supplies, and other Food & Beverage items.
Check products and supplies in and out of the warehouse using established inventory procedures and transfer sheets.
Prepare and distribute products and supplies to concessions stands, kitchens, catering areas, and other locations throughout the facility. Stock concessions stands and other event areas prior to events and replenish inventory as needed during events.
Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels based on upcoming event schedules and anticipated product needs.
Rotate food products using proper FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Properly label, date, store, and organize food products and supplies.
Follow established food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
Maintain basic knowledge of food safety requirements, including proper food storage and temperature control.
Accurately complete transfer sheets, receiving documentation, inventory records, and other required paperwork.
Communicate inventory shortages, damaged products, discrepancies, and other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Assist with inventory counts and bi-monthly physical inventories.
Move inventory quickly and efficiently throughout the facility, particularly before and during events.
Assist Food & Beverage staff with event preparation, breakdown, and restocking.
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse, loading, and storage area.
Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment used to transport products and supplies.
Follow all facility safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Previous warehouse, inventory, food service, hospitality, concessions, or related experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of food safety and proper food storage practices.
Ability to accurately track inventory and complete transfer and receiving documentation.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable and able to work effectively under time-sensitive conditions.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and point-of-sale-related systems.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods.
Ability to safely and efficiently move products and supplies throughout a large facility.
Schedule Requirements Berglund Center operates on an event-driven schedule, including concerts, sporting events, theatrical performances, banquets, festivals, and other events.
This position requires flexibility and availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and other non-traditional hours based on the facility's event schedule.

Physical Requirements
The Warehouse Coordinator must be able to:
Lift and carry products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Push and pull carts, dollies, and other equipment loaded with inventory.
Frequently walk throughout the facility while transporting products.
Bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver in warehouse and concession areas.
Work on their feet for extended periods.
Safely and efficiently move inventory under time-sensitive conditions, particularly during event setup and preparation.

Work Environment T
his position works primarily in the Berglund Center warehouse, loading and receiving areas, kitchens, concessions areas, and throughout the facility. The Warehouse Coordinator will work in a busy, fast-paced environment and must be able to respond quickly to changing event needs.
The position is an essential part of the Food & Beverage operation and helps ensure that Berglund Center's concessions, kitchens, catering operations, and special events have the products and supplies needed to successfully serve guests.
