Acquisition Program Management Support Senior (Digital Infrastructure)

MTSI is seeking a Technical Program Manager to establish and lead a Digital Infrastructure Team supporting the Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Division at Wright‑Patterson AFB. This role is responsible for building the team, defining processes, and driving the delivery of digital infrastructure capabilities that enable mission systems across the division’s portfolio. Core focus areas include software services, compute environments, data integration frameworks, and autonomy‑supporting infrastructure. The Technical Program Manager will direct day‑to‑day technical activities, set priorities, coordinate across engineering and acquisition teams, and ensure digital infrastructure efforts align with the division’s modernization objectives. Key responsibilities include requirements development, schedule and risk management, technical baseline oversight, integration and test coordination, configuration management, and sustainment planning for digital systems. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to synchronize work across multiple acquisition programs and mission areas. Candidates should have experience with DoD acquisition, digital modernization, distributed compute technologies, software‑based capability development, and infrastructure supporting autonomy or advanced mission systems. Successful candidates must be comfortable standing up new technical teams, managing complex digital efforts, and driving enterprise‑level modernization within the Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Division. Responsibilities: ·      Leading a digital infrastructure team responsible for software environments, compute resources, data integration, and autonomy‑supporting systems within a classified space. ·      Managing technical baselines for secure networks, computing clusters, storage solutions, virtualization environments, and software development pipelines operating at classified levels. ·      Coordinating work across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet security accreditation requirements and remain compliant with SCIF procedures. ·      Overseeing installation, configuration, and sustainment of digital infrastructure hardware and software, including managing updates, patches, and configuration changes within the classified boundary. ·      Running daily program activities inside the SCIF—tasking team members, reviewing technical work, resolving issues, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to secure‑handling requirements. ·      Managing schedules, risks, dependencies, and integration challenges tied to classified systems and mission‑critical digital services. ·      Coordinating test events, lab activities, and integration efforts that rely on classified datasets, modeling environments, and high‑performance compute resources. ·       Supporting documentation and reporting requirements for cybersecurity, configuration management, technical reviews, and secure systems accreditation. ·      Ensuring that digital infrastructure capabilities align with enterprise modernization goals and integrate effectively with multiple mission platforms. ·      Serving as the primary technical interface for stakeholders who rely on classified digital services, including Government customers, mission partners, and adjacent program offices. Qualifications: •        Minimum of ten years of relevant Department of War (DoW) experience. •        At least three years of experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the past eight years. Education and Experience: o  Master’s degree (MS/MA) or higher in business administration, management, accounting, finance, logistics, a STEM discipline, or an MBA. o  A bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) plus fifteen years of relevant DoW, government agency, or DoW contractor experience may be substituted for the advanced degree requirement.
