Director, Head of Statements - Services

Team/Role Overview:

The Head of Statements will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing product strategy, operating models, technical architecture, and risk management for client statements across Services. This role requires close partnership with all products, functions, and clusters when applicable.

Currently, there are many different statements and transaction reporting mechanisms across Services products, and this role will require the successful candidate to have a Services-wide view on reporting channels and capabilities, client usage, pricing strategy, infrastructure consolidation, and product roadmap.

This role reports into the Head of Pricing, Billing and Statements (PBS), and is part of the Platform and Data Services (PDS) organization.

What you’ll do:

• Perform Deep Dive and Develop Recommendations for Product Strategy
• Revisit Pricing Rate Card for Statements
• Develop inventory of product data not included in statements, as well as identify remediation requirements
• Validate Product (Statements) Processor Data
• Develop Global standard statement enrichment engine leveraging payments CDM
• Manage client issues and enhancement requests related to statements
• Manage technology budget and project prioritization
• Work with products to identify risks in the statement production process and implement strategic solutions and compensating controls when the strategic solution has not been implemented yet
• Manage formal risk issues and corrective action plans to closure
• Define and drive analytics, tools and initiatives to measure client usage patterns and digitization adoption opportunities

What we’ll need from you:

• 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience
• A highly motivated and experienced professional prepared to lead and manage a complex yet important pricing execution and strategy in the Services business
• Knowledge of Payments & Receivables, Investor, and Issuer products and the nature of how clients use these services, how they are priced, etc.
• Experience in collaborating across teams to receive relevant information from each respective team required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with data analytics a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with partners
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Master’s a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel advanced proficient preferred, PowerPoint proficient)
