Description

Weezie is a design-forward luxury bath and home brand recently dubbed by Inc. a “cool girl status symbol.” Launched in 2018, we’ve since landed on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies two years running, and count Gwyneth Paltrow and Mindy Kaling among our fans.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader to build our licensing program from the ground up and grow our partnerships into a true pillar of the brand. You’ll own licensing and partnerships end to end: managing our relationships with licensors, building the systems that keep approvals, compliance, and royalty reporting running smoothly, and prospecting the next schools, Greek organizations, and more.

On the partnerships side, you’ll project manage brand collaborations, co-branded launches, and special projects from kickoff to launch, keeping every partner, timeline, and deliverable on track. Reporting to the VP of Brand, you’ll work closely with Product, Business Development, Creative, Web, and more so every partnership feels unmistakably Weezie.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record running licensed & partnership programs for a lifestyle or consumer brand. You’re persistent and organized, relationship-oriented and pair sharp brand judgment with the go-to-market instincts to make every program a hit.

What you’ll do

  • Build the systems and processes that support licensing at Weezie, from applications and partner approvals to artwork submissions, royalty tracking and reporting, and compliance, so licensed programs like collegiate and Greek can launch and scale smoothly.
  • Own our relationships with licensors, managing each as an account with a regular cadence of check-ins, performance updates, and renewals.
  • Prospect and secure new licenses, and build a pipeline of future licensing partners.
  • Manage art approvals, factory compliance (FLA), insurance, and renewal calendars so every product launches on time and within each licensor’s guidelines.
  • Partner with Product Development and our embroidery team on stitch-outs, thread colors, and samples, making sure licensor requirements are built into every design.
  • Own royalty reporting, invoicing, and licensor portal entry, partnering with Finance to track sales and royalties accurately and building out support as the program grows.
  • Negotiate and close agreements, brand collaborations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market campaigns for licensed collections with the Brand team, from launch moments to pop-ups, campus activations, influencer seeding and more.
  • Project manage Weezie’s brand partnerships and special projects end to end, from timelines and briefs to approvals, deliverables, and launch.
  • Keep Product, Creative, Web, Growth, and our partners aligned so every collaboration ships on time and feels distinctly Weezie.
  • Manage partner relationships after launch, sharing results and identifying what to build on next.
  • Grow into owning Weezie’s partnership strategy, bringing a point of view on the partners and collaborations that will grow the brand.
  • Track program performance and report on results, scaling what works.

KPIs

  • Revenue: licensed collection sales and partnership-driven revenue
  • Impressions: brand reach and impressions generated by licensed collections and partnerships
  • PMO: licensed collections, collaborations, and special projects delivered on time and on budget, with approvals, compliance, royalty reporting, and renewals complete and accurate

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in licensing, brand partnerships, or account management, ideally running licensed programs and brand partnerships for a lifestyle, apparel, or home brand
  • Hands-on experience with collegiate or Greek licensing (CLC, Affinity, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Experience project managing brand collaborations, co-branded launches, or cross-functional projects, with the strategic instincts to grow into owning partnership strategy
  • An account manager and project manager at heart, able to keep many partners, timelines, and deliverables moving at once
  • Working knowledge of licensing agreements, approvals, royalty reporting, and factory compliance, plus the legal, accounting, and product development basics behind them
  • Detail-oriented and energized by building systems from scratch
  • A confident negotiator and relationship builder who represents Weezie well
  • Exceptional brand judgment, with an eye for partners that elevate the brand
  • Commercially minded and fluent in the numbers
  • A collaborative leader who brings cross-functional teams along
  • Passionate about the Weezie brand and eager to bring it to new places and audiences

What to expect

  • Regular travel for licensor meetings, campus activations, industry events, and key brand moments
  • Hybrid work environment (Atlanta-based; in-office Tuesday through Thursday)
  • A team that works hard but knows how to #enjoythestay
  • Unlimited PTO, plus remote work during the week of July 4 and an office closure the week after Christmas
  • Anniversary benefits program, including Summer Fridays (1pm summer close) after 1 year of service, $3,000 travel credit after 3 years of service and a 5-week paid sabbatical after 5 years of service
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term Disability, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Generous Weezie product gifts and discounts for you, your friends, and family
  • Paid Parental Leave
