Workshop Planner

We are currently seeking a Workshop Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, including data entry, report preparation, and customer correspondence.

What You Will Do
- Open and manage workshop work orders, including assigning purchase orders to repairs.
- Prepare weekly reports on backorders, shipments, and invoicing.
- Estimate job costs and prepare preliminary quotations.
- Monitor work orders daily and coordinate weekly workshop repair schedules in collaboration with the Workshop Supervisor.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to keep them informed about current and upcoming work.
- Track cost overruns and report them to the Workshop Supervisor.
- Invoice suppliers on a weekly basis.
- Communicate with the manufacturing facility to track parts and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Process warranty claims for equipment serviced in the workshop.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Environmental Health and Safety

What You Bring
- Postsecondary diploma in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in an administrative role.
- Experience processing warranty claims and making decisions based on warranty policies is considered an asset.
- Strong administrative and computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in both French and English, verbally and in writing, is considered an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- General knowledge of mining equipment product lines is considered an asset.
- Basic English communication skills (written and spoken).
