The Technical Services Engineer is expected to provide technical expertise and execute tasks on all three stages of a project: pre-sales, implementation, and operations & management, primarily focused in O&M.
Their tasks include coordination with arsenals in closing projects, engaging with contractors and construction management, and ensuring continuous operations and maximum output of projects. The Technical Services Engineer is expected to execute the tasks depending on the need of the team. They are also expected to do the role in coordination with the Technical Services Leads and may be assigned other tasks from time to time.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
O&M
Operations Monitoring
Report generation on solar systems performance under contract
Regular reviews of the solar system performance under contract
Monthly output monitoring (in case of solar and other applicable teams)
Proposing of solutions in resolving low generating systems, detecting anomalies
Regular reporting to the groups concerned
Maintenance Management
Planning and budgeting of necessary preventive maintenance
Monitoring of product warranty monitoring and claims
Contractor coordination and engagement, as necessary
Contractor management, as necessary
Timely action on corrective maintenance needed
ESH compliance
Emergency planning management
Issue to Resolution
Product troubleshooting and replacement (if necessary)
Reviewing of incident reports and safety reports submitted by the contractor
Proposing of resolution actions
Deployment task, especially on emergency cases
Reviewing of troubleshooting methodology
Other Responsibilities
Pre-sales
Project scoping and initial design
Customer meetings and site inspection
Outsource services determination and coordination
Internal discussions
Project Costing (outsourced)
TOR preparation
Bid out or proposal solicitation

Key Competencies & Skills:
Excellent technical skills in solar, energy storage and other electrical systems
Experienced in troubleshooting solar and other electrical system
Managing solar assets to optimize performance, financial returns and claims
Knowledgeable in operational permit applications and monitoring
Excellent problem solving skills, able to analyze the situation and make decisions/recommendations
Knowledgeable in risk management review and assessment
Knowledgeable in customer engagement and management; with business acumen
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Engineering, preferably in solar/renewable engineering or equivalent
Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably in solar/renewable energy and other electrical systems
Have maintained a solar facility with a minimum of 5MWp
Preferably with Solar Asset Management experience
Knowledgeable in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD
Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace
Willing to do travel and do actual site works and inspections
