Job Description Summary
The Global Strategic Transaction Leader (STM) is the primary point of contact for GE personnel - field and HQ, and GE facilities for OTR (Order to Remittance) issues relating to total Order Processing including cash collection activities for more complex projects for clients. STM develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. Responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cooperation with the production / supply department in order to serve the short-term needs.
- Responsible for exportation, including responsibility of preparation of shipping documents, follow-up deliveries, credibility and recording trading results, as well as archiving shipping documentations.
- Responsible for processing complex parts project orders and the resolution of customer inquiries around status of their order.
- Having similar tasks and metrics as GCFS (Global Customer Fulfillment Specialists) has.
- Responsible for project management of key customer orders and technical inquiries in support of parts business.
- Manage the industry related customer technical inquiries as well as screen international customer purchase orders and contracts for adherence to U.S. trades controls and company policy standards.
- Responsible for the project management engineered flow and CMU in support of business in Europe.
- Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns verbally or in writing.
- Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules, execute mandatory EHS trainings and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required.
Qualifications/Requirements::
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 2 additional years of experience in an international order management role
- Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Access)
- Excellent communication skills, ability of independent working, ability of prioritizing the tasks

Desired Characteristics:
- Six Sigma training, Green Belt Certification (GE employees only)
- Proficiency in Oracle and SAP
- Knowledge of customer maintenance requirements and spare parts application for the GE product lines is preferred
- Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred
- Knowledge of Letter of Credit transactions, execution and international logistics execution including air and ocean shipments via the appropriate INCO terms
