Description
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Sales Enablement to join a collaborative team supporting business development initiatives within a global investment management organization. This role offers the opportunity to combine analytical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to create high-quality client-facing materials that support growth and strengthen relationships with clients and prospects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the proposal process, developing compelling investment communications, and partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and impactful responses to client and consultant requests.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with subject matter experts, and can translate complex investment concepts into clear and engaging content.
This is a hybrid role (4 days in office) based out of their Montreal office.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), consultant questionnaires, and other client-facing materials.
- Coordinate proposal timelines, gather input from internal stakeholders, and ensure high-quality submissions are delivered on schedule.
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling content that communicates investment capabilities, strategies, and organizational strengths.
- Support the preparation of finalist presentations by coordinating content development, reviewing materials, and ensuring messaging is tailored to specific audiences.
- Partner with investment professionals and subject matter experts to gather insights and effectively communicate complex investment approaches.
- Maintain and enhance proposal databases, content libraries, and knowledge management tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure proposal content remains accurate, current, and aligned with organizational messaging and standards.
- Conduct quality reviews and participate in peer review processes to maintain consistency and excellence across submissions.
- Respond to consultant and intermediary requests with accuracy, professionalism, and a strong client-service mindset.
- Maintain current knowledge of investment strategies, organizational capabilities, and relevant business information.
- Support reporting initiatives and maintain tracking dashboards to improve visibility into proposal activity and business development opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and tools that enhance the effectiveness of the Sales Enablement function.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience within investment management, financial services, consulting, pension, or a related industry.
- Experience preparing investment proposals, RFP responses, DDQs, or similar client-facing documentation.
- Strong written communication, editing, and content development skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred qualifications
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or progress toward completion is an asset.
- Experience with proposal management platforms and investment databases such as eVestment, Responsive, or similar tools.
- Understanding of investment products, institutional clients, and asset management processes.
- Fully bilingual in French and English.
