We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Manager to lead proactive revenue-generating efforts for a newly renovated, top-tier branded hotel and connected event space just outside of Omaha, NE. Positioned in a bustling commercial corridor near a major military installation, this property features updated guest rooms, modern public spaces, and expansive multi-room meeting and banquet facilities capable of hosting major regional events
This is a hands-on role focused on proactive outside sales, account prospecting, and strategic outreach—ideal for a high-energy hospitality sales professional ready to make a measurable impact.
What you’ll do

Proactively Solicit New Business: Spends over 50% of the work week conducting outside sales calls, networking, and off-site prospecting to generate new corporate and group business.

Target Strategic Markets: Focuses heavily on capturing corporate travel alongside a strong local government and military market

Drive Client Engagement: Leads site tours of the property's updated rooms and event space, delivers persuasive proposals, and negotiates contracts to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partners closely with on-site catering management and sales coordination staff to ensure seamless client handoffs while sharing in group catering sales revenue.

Manage Pipeline & Systems: Utilizes property management software (Stay PMS) and account tracking tools to log sales activities, manage customer files, and forecast future business.

Support Leadership: Participates in regular management meetings, sales blitzes, local chamber outings, and the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) rotation

What we’re looking for

Sales Acumen: Prefers 1–2 years of hotel sales experience, though candidates with strong sales drive and an outgoing, high-energy personality from related industries are encouraged to apply.

Targeted Market Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and navigate government, military, and corporate account travel procurement

Communication & Negotiation: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required for pitch meetings, site tours, and contract negotiations

Technical Aptitude: Comfort learning modern hotel PMS platforms and CRM account-tracing databases.

Mobility & Credentials: Holds an Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for local prospecting calls
